Suggestion Do a show on which English club could build the best team in the 2000's. This can include players from anytime within the 2000s. Must build a realistic 'team' though, not just a collection of best players. Analyze potential team chemistry/partnerships and overall balance. Maybe do 2010's first.

As a Milan fan, I have to say, Milan's 04-05 team is the best of the decade even though we never won haha, and our 02-03 team was definitely better than our 06-07 team, which wasn't even that great. We were carried hard by Kaka that season. In 02-03 we still had prime Sheva, we had prime Seedorf, we had Gattuso, Pirlo in midfield and Rui Costa as our no. 10. Plus, our defense was great and younger than the '07 defense. I mean, we had bloody Oddo and Jankulovski as full-backs in '07, and half the time Maldini and Nesta were injured that year, and guys like Kaladze had to take their place. It was also Dida past his best. So, yeah, in '07 we were carried by Kaka (and a few magic moments from Seedorf and Inzaghi). We have to thank them and the San Siro crowd/atmosphere for that year. If I'm ranking the best teams of the decade: Milan 04-05 (even though we didn't win, it doesn't matter) Barca 08-09 After that, you can put Barca 05-06, Milan 02-03, United 07-08 or Madrid 01-02 as your third place. All great teams. Bayern 00-01 the most underrated team of the decade by far. Not a lot of standout players but they were consistently going toe-to-toe with the likes of Man United and the Galacticos, beating them several times, too. Bayern regularly beat United in that period and it was always between Bayern and Madrid who was gonna win the UCL between 1999 and 2002/2003 until Milan came along.

It's not a wild take. Milan's defense was miles clear of Barca's, even though we lost the 2005 final. As a team we were much more complete, and that '09 Barca team didn't even deserve to be in the final to win the treble in the first place. '09 Barca was better than '07 Milan, but not better than '05 Milan.

Robben scored a screamer to seal the tie. The first leg as well we were leading 1-0 n they scored two very late goals to win it.
