Well as an Italian im not surprised about the assist of Candreva, he plays for Salernitana just because he is old but he has it still, and Dia last year scored like 15 goal. I feel like there might be a debuff toward lower Prem sides, just so the match engine doesn't create weird surprise results in the league. Since La Liga/Bundesliga/Serie A/etc tend to be a bit more volatile standings-wise in real life than the Prem does (ie you'd never see a Schalke equivalent in the Prem, a team going from perennial European competitions to relegation in such a short span) and you can't really buff the top teams since people will play as City, Pool, Arsenal, etc, they prob thought the way to best do it to ensure the Prem goes a bit more chalk than the other leagues was to debuff the bottom sides.
