Hey a new video. Love it. I tested both Elo and Trueskill quite a while. What I can say, the accuracy is under 50 percent. Something between 44% and 49%. The strength of a team not allways results in a win, thats the problem of such an rating system.

I tend to use it to pick games where the gap is above a threshold? So maybe 140 or whatever. Then check to see if that has worked for the competition in question. Maybe type in some data to throw machine learning at since it can find the pattern better than me? I'll try that with the CL final betting odds next since would be sweet if it could spot when matches go to extra time /penalties? Though I'd like far more data to get better resolution? Next want to do a US election vid since studied that last time and so can just apply what I learnt 😃

@@quantchannel9922 Whats your opinion on Markov Chain or Markov Hidden Model. Its really easy to test out. Why you are not doing NBA :) would love to see it
