La Romania entra nell'albo d'oro dei campioni d'Europa grazie alla Steaua Bucarest, vittoriosa alla 1^ finale giocata, grazie soprattutto al suo portiere Helmuth Duckadam, capace di parare 4 rigori su 4 ai blaugrana. Il Barcellona perde incredibilmente, da favorito, nonostante il ritorno in finale atteso 25 anni.

Dal 1996 al 2024, 29 anni, hanno vinto solo Italia, Germania, Inghilterra, Spagna e 1 volta per sbaglio, non si sa come, il Portogallo (Porto 2004) Poi dal 2010 nemmeno più l'Italia: 14 anni solo Germania (2), Inghilterra (4), Spagna (8) Il calcio di tutti 😂😂😂😂😂 Il calcio dove talmente che vincono sempre gli stessi che quando vincono nemmeno esultano più..

@LukaDinamo No, they were not. Possibly a few supporters from the romanian communist regime, but not to many. The communists leaders didn't allow the citizens to leave the country back then. It was possible that there were supporters from other spanish teams that cheered for Steaua in the stadium. Anyhow, Steaua had the best team that year and the years to follow. It won the super cup in 1987. It reached the semi-finals of the EC in 1988 and the final against AC Milan in 1989.

Except from Ladislau Boloni who's ancesters were hungarians but he was born and raised in Romania, learned romanian and speaks romanian very well and elegant, played for Romania's national team and even managed the same national team between 2000 and 2002 (including one win against Hungaria)..everyone else were 100% true and genuine romanian players... and for the rest of you hatred hungarians who live in Romania and don't want to speak romanian...move out or change you fucking attitude!!!

Helmuth Duckadam - an ethnic German? Miodrag Beodedici - an ethnic Serb? There seems to have been more than just one László Bölöni, as non-ethnic Romanians in the team. I am not taking anything away from this historic win for the Eastern European football in general and Romania in particular, but let's be correct.
