Yeah I don't think I have ever watched a full mk11 tournament it just gets so boring with the slow neutral and limited combos, I usually forward to the winners finals and then grand finals but haven't watched any mk11 tourneys in a long time, mkx and injustice 2 tourneys are hype

@@chillissajoke2729 Same I first played mk11 and thought it was amazing but after a year the gameplay gets old and it’s not been long but since I’ve tried mkx it just feels like such a more hype fighting game. Harder to play but the characters and fights feel so much more satisfying.

@curry flocka yea I get that but IJ2 and MK11 , in my opinion, are not fun. Having a game that is slower and more about “fundamentals” is good. But they need to do a better job at making them actually fun and good. Slow doesn’t mean it has to be lame you know? I still have fun on MKX 6 years later. Personally I can’t say that about IJ2 or MK11. But that’s just me.

@curry flocka bruh you don’t get the point lmaooo. Nothing you can say will change the fact that those games are not fun. I love nrs and MK but I’m not a blind fan boy. If MK11 was as good as you claim then the views and player base would show that. So many people have moved on from MK11 because it’s simply not as fun. Why do you think so many people are back playing MKX? Including the pros. You can ask many people and they would agree with me. You can ask many pros and they would agree. And scrubs are better at MKX? Thats false as well. MK11 is easier to comprehend. My girl can play MK11 and do well but she can’t even handle MKX when I try to teach her bc the game takes way more to grasp. Combos are harder, pressure is harder to do and deal with. Among many other things. Just because the neutral is more apparent and the zoning is better does not mean MK11 is harder to play. But think what you want. I’m pretty sure youre one of select few people who would say MK11 is better from a fun standpoint. Just because something is slow and “balanced” doesn’t mean it’s fun. But hey think what you want. People like you are the only thing that have kept nrs’s last few games from being complete flops. But hey if you really think it’s more fun. Good on you 😂

Hey Destroyer, have you & Caboose thought about having a Variationless-only tournament? Just the characters and their base movesets without any added specials & whatnot. I feel like it'd be a very interesting tournament, and I'd definitely tune into it! Now, I know that you technically can't play variationless as Triborg because it selects Cyber Sub-Zero. However, I'm sure you guys could find a workaround for this! Hell, even a tournament where players can only use the weaker character variations, like Mournful on Kitana or even Lackey on Ferra/Torr, would be just as interesting! Just some food for thought, hope it's something you guys can take into considerstion. Loving COTR so far, UnbearableSkill is insane!!!
