The pricing of the ticket is totally a non issue since the maximum revenue gets generated through media rights. It is a very good step to attract more crowds. Also the gate money goes to the host board and not to ICC. This attitude of Indian media to paint everything Pakistan does as black is not good at all!

On the other hand, in Pakistan, it’s a big tournament along with a struggling economy, so they surely want to test things first. Let me explain Pakistan will generate more revenues per match as there would be all stadiums filled with spectators but in 2023 worldcup India there were empty seats in all matches except Indian team matches. In first four days 70 percent tickets have been sold and rest would be sold within three days.
