Congrats! I don't know who did the set up for the car, but they NAILED the shock/spring/tire package. Billy seemed to find a groove that the car really liked, avoiding most of the rough. The other cars trying to chase him down were getting destroyed by the bumps. It seemed like Billy's car was fast where no one else could run, and stayed under him throughout the whole race while the rest were backing up. He was super impressive on every restart. Great job everyone!

Mandee 🥰😍🥰😍, the best trackside news . Had to be a long feature with a yellow every 4 laps. I hated them when I raced I know. But you made it through with great composer. Hope to see a new vid Monday morning Billy , you sure tried. But unfortunately things happen out of the control of the wheel man . Sure would have been great to get the series title to, but I'm positive that you will makeup for it next year. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Looked like a very smart drive by Billy Jr in the feature to get second, congrats on winning the track championship! Curious, what was able to be saved from the Port Royal car, engine I hope... Good luck to all three at Bridgeport next weekend!

No problem with the car coming off the corners. It was a gravity problem. It's hard to accelerate when the back tires are off the ground half the time due to the rough track.

Well you can not win a race and have 4 top fives and still win a championship. On the other hand you can win a race and have 5 top fives and finish second in point. These are two examples of gentlemen that I have worked with in the past that one won a championship with no wins and 4 top fives at Salina Highbanks Speedway in Oklahoma. Now I will add that Greg Skaggs the gentlemen that won the championship had been out of racing for ten years. Until last year and was able too win a championship in his first full season. Now the reason for the time off for ten years was due to the fact he had two daughters that were left handed pitchers in softball and he converted his race shop into a indoor pitching facility. That way they had someplace too work on their pitching skills. Oh and on top of that his wife has been dealing with cancer almost as long as he has been away from racing. So it was wonderful too see the photo of them all together as he was recieving the championship goodies for winning that track championship.

Seems like when any track has incidents that chunk up the hard pan it is impossible to fix. They could maybe use a grinder to blend the edges but it wont get rid of the potholes.

yea it had some rough spots but remember tropical storm Zeta went right overhead the day before and the place was flooded, you could still see the lake in the infield(turn 2), considering that they did a great job with track prep.
