Love watching you guys doing it. I've always been a fan of MDJ. When DC won Redcrest and you were rooting for it, that was sweet. I'm 50 years old and feel like I've missed my calling. Hell if there was collegiate bass fishing when I grew up..... BAM! Deans list. In 1997 when Davey Hite won Bassmaster angler of the year, I was in tears watching him accept it. He told stories about his dad taking him out when he was a kid. and how thankful he was for the support of his family. Its truly a privilege to be able to watch you guys with your families out there with you. Last week on fathers day, my dad and I were talking about the 12 foot aluminum he used to row us around in. He still uses it today, only now its on a trailer and has a trolling motor. I thank him all the time for giving me that passion and spending the time with me. Next time you fellas are up in the northeast, maybe fishing the St. Lawrence, and you want a lesson in cornhole, let me know. I just sent this clip to some guys I’m in a fishing group with. That skipping under docks into a gap 8 inches wide and 2 inches high is what separates hobbyists like us with world class pros like Wheeler. Amazing. Man, I gotta get some work in.

Lake travis is overfished I think, and so many boaters out all the damn time. I also think the carp mess with things. They were released to deal with the hydrilla problem

Every time I fish lake Travis i catch numbers but anything over 5 pounds are few far and between. It's definitely a grind. Now lake Amistad? Cha chingggg my biggest this year was an 8 and in the same day I got a 6 and 7. All on the 6th Sense swank. Fun bite
