I totally agree, I just started getting into watching these types of videos, started with 1rod1reel, then youtube started having me watch milliken fishing, the bam greg blanchard. Love the yak, hate your luck tho. Bad prefishing but usually at least 1 good day at tournies. Never fished one before but if I do I am praying for the Blanchard luck!

Nice video. I have been catching up on your videos. I love them. Keep them coming. I fish from a boat when i'm not in the streams, but watching how much fun you have in the yak makes me want to yak fish one day. Now i just have to convince the wife that fishing from a yak is different from a boat. Wish me luck

Hold your reels like a ball. Basically, palm your reels when u set the hook. You'll have more power n control of your rod/reel when u set the hook. Also, next time when a bass blows up on your frog don't set the hook right away. Instead reel in your line until u feel tension from the fish then set the hook. You'll miss less fish on the frog with this technique.

It’s gotta be tough to chum up with your competitors. I think it’s a bad idea for personal success. I’m impressed at how you’re able to manage that aspect of fishing. I definitely struggle with the social part of it all. One thing is for sure it’s a hindrance I my success. On the other side of the coin it’s crucial to learning to see other styles of fishing. Live and learn...
