I want to sit down with this guy, and tell him that having flaws is what makes one human. Our flaws are basically our differences; that is what make us unique. If everyone had the same features, uff what a dull world it'll become. Also, asymmetry is the natural occurrence in the world of living. Hardly anything living is perfectly symmetrical. My heart goes out to him because to own up your so called flaws in an industry that is hyperfocused on a very convoluted idea of perfection is an uphill task. I hope someone reminds this precious human being that he is enough, his body is enough, his being is enough.

Asymmetry doesn’t mean ugly: Chan is incredibly handsome, with makeup or without. And I’ve seen his curly hair in the Kingdom behind the scenes and it’s soooo lovely! I wish he had more confidence in his natural beauty; I wish the kpop training machine didn’t manufacture insecurities by nitpicking tiny details. I’m glad he feels comfortable being honest about these things but I also wish he didn’t struggle looking at his own face. That’s a very sad thing to hear him admit.

I know everyone is wishing Chan would see himself the way we see him, but if you've ever struggled with self esteem issues you know that it really is a personal journey. Even Chan who is loved and appreciated by millions of people struggles with insecurities. It just shows how much our internal value of ourselves really matters. this is just another proof that k-pop idols are just humans, normal human beings like everybody else in the world. they go through the same struggles as everyone, they experience pain, insecurity, low self-esteem and self-love, they can have complexes and they also struggle to get over these problems. this means that if they receive bad comments and feedback about their appearance, they're gonna struggle and suffer even more, just like everyone else. that's why i think we fans should always try our best to make our precious idols feel loved, accepted and amazingly perfect as they are. they always try their best to reassure us and give us good advice/help, so we must do the same.

He is so human. He is so brave by being open about his insecurities. In an industry that is often so focused on perfection, this is incredibly brave of him. Those of us who struggle with or have struggled with self esteem know that you can suddenly just decide to love everything, we criticise and analyse even the smallest parts of us. Chan is being honest with us and I think that's better than him lying and putting on a facade of perfection. @@DeV-2909 Akgaes are not stays. They are people obsessed with certain members. To me, Stays are people like me all around the world who are astray and lost and need comfort through music. And I love them because I understand that. BESIDES, if you find this comment “bad”, move on from it. Not everyone reads everything with a negative lens. And if Chan were to ever read it, he would know what I mean because although he may find flaws in himself like al the rest of us, that’s what makes him imperfectly perfect. If you are the sort to unconsciously take everything negatively when it clearly is meant to portray the collective love stay have for ALL of him - including his insecurities - then there is something wrong with the way you perceive the world. Get some therapy. Make life more positive. And stop assuming that everyone thinks the same way.

@@DeV-2909 Toxic stays are a minority tbh. As much as people make stays to be a toxic fandom as a whole, that’s actually not true. Yeah there are toxic fans, but they might be 1/10th of the fandom. Besides, I just said I love stays cuz some people sort of just need to hear it? This video is about complexes, and like Chan said, EVERYONE has them. This is just a positive comment dude. Not you taking everything so literally-😭 ALSO, I know that telling Chan his complexes are beautiful would not change his own view on them, but *reassuring* him that we would find him beautiful regardless is not something negative (and I don't see why you are making it out to be?). Everyone receives such statements differently, and I doubt you being Libra discounts you to know exactly how he would feel? Sorry, but like you cant assume this stuff haha.

@@DeV-2909 THAT is true. I wont disagree. But you have to realize, with the stuff that's recently happening on twt, its come to light that most of those "STAYS" were never truly stays. They were parading as such. Trust me when I say that things are truly starting to get better. There is still a SWARM of hate towards this sweet guy, but people have been reporting and getting hate accounts disabled left and right. Like, I get you and I completely agree.

@@DeV-2909 YES. Honestly he inspires me so much. I’ve had the hardest time with my own physical insecurities and I was extremely negative before I got into stray kids and received proper therapy (which is the reason why I said so to you in my first comment; therapy is very helpful). Stray kids songs (like voices, scars, insomnia) just speak to me so much, and Chan’s rooms is one of my fav parts of the week. Angel, he truly is. And as an ot8, it just goes to show, like I always find so many good qualities in all of them which I want to adapt as well. People who get to know Chan really come off a better version of themselves 💕

@@toxicmeowwwwww Мне 17 и я парень, 163 - довольно низкий рост. Я всегда был низким: во дворе, в садике, в школе, но как такового комплекса не было, потому что никто ничего не говорил. Но вот когда я поступил на первый курс универа... Там много высоких студентов и они выглядят довольно взрослыми (хотя и невысоких тоже прилично). И когда я прохожу по коридору, кто-то да отпустит шутку "а что здесь делает начальная школа?". Таких случаев было около шести и они меня довольно сильно задевали. И это всё продолжается на втором курсе, правда было только два раза это теперь меня не так сильно задевает. На это вроде как глупо обижаться, но я почему-то обиделся ахах. В общем я работаю над увеличением роста, надеюсь смогу вырасти хотя бы как Бан Чан, примерно до 170 см. Вай, какой милый у тебя рост! Попробуй делать растяжку, висеть на турнике (если есть возможность), есть морковь и пить витамин D, я всё это делаю. Делаю ещё только две недели, поэтому не могу утверждать, что вырос на миллион см, но я стал чаще тянуться.

I love how vulnerable and genuine he is out in the open. We all have complexes about ourselves (I have a list of things I'm uncomfortable with myself) and you can't just snap your fingers to be rid of them.
