This chana masala recipe is an easy, healthy one-pot meal ! Warm spices, add rich flavor to the satisfying chickpea Masala

Ingredients:
Black chickpeas (Kala chana) 2 Cup (soaked overnight /6-7 hours)
Water 5-6 Cups or as required
Oil 3-4 Tbsp
Onion Sliced 2 small
Ginger garlic paste 1 Tbsp
Salt 1 Tbsp or to taste
Red chilli powder 1 Tsp or to taste
Coriander powder 1 Tbsp
Cumin powder 1 Tsp
Turmeric powder ½ Tsp
Water 2 Tbsp
Hari mirch (Green chilli) chopped 1 tbs
Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
Directions:
In a pressure cooker, add Oil and onion, saute till translucent now add ginger garlic paste mix well & cook for a minute.
Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder,cumin powder and water mix well & cook until oil separates.
add chana (black chickpeas) With water.
close the lid & Pressure cook over medium flame. wait till 4 whistles then set the flame to low & cook for 10 minutes,
then switch off the flame & let the cooker depressurize naturally.
Once depressurized, open the lid & stir well, check if cooked,
if water is left then cook over high flame to reduce water.
Garnish with green chilli, fresh coriander & serve!
