Both tara and rumi grew up with single mothers both have different view points.rumi prefers to live alone and tara prefers family system.however in taras case her mother didnt interact with neighbours family etc so tara was severely isolated and her reaction is clinging onto the inlaws family cuz she is afraid of being totally isolated.this is the problem taras mother claims to be decent but actually even in america noone is this severely isolated in whole life as tara is. This is her reaction.tbh tara def needs therapy cuz of her mother.and taras mother def needs therapy too she is ruining taras married life. As for the cancelling of trip tara should have consulted her husband before deciding.and in todays episode fight tara was wrong and should have apologised for not consulting chand.(both have different views but BOTH should mutually agree on a decision not tara alone)
