Chandanwadi is One of The Most Beautiful Spot in kashmir | Travel Guide to Chandanwadi Kashmir

We visited this place on 31th of May. one thing you should keep in mind in your kashmir visit that while you choose to go to a particular place just dont concentrate on your destination only. Each minute, every turning, each km of your journey is memorable.so forget the destination and enjoy the sojourn. Secondly, kashmir is totally different in different season and interestingly its every color is beautiful. In december chandanwadi is similar to Sonmarg.
To reach Chandanwadi you need to or otherwise you have no option than hiring local tax!! Your private vehicle is not permitted beyound Pahalgam. But the good point is that its not much expensive, and the driver is well acquainted with each and every turning and potholes of the road so never mind you are in safe hands in turn they earn a livelihood for their family. The local drivers are very friendly, sincere and honest and most important they will not change their facial expression even if you stay 1 hour our 4 hrs at a place of your interest. They are booked for you for the whole day and their next turn may come after 8 or 10 days. another important feature, they are good photographers!
At chandanwadi guides and photographers will emotionally blackmail you,but dont hire if you dont need. December to may need them as we are not accustomed to climb snow clad slopes or solid ice. If you want to enjoy sledge down the slope u can hire them but dont go for it if you wish to visit sonmarg.
BEAUTY OF CHANDANWADI LIKE SONMARG JUST CANNOT BE EXPLAINED IN WORDS BY A COMMON MAN LIKE ME. For that you need to be a poet, a Shayer..!
I think best season to visit Chandanwadi is...is...all season huh.
