Darren has an extraordinary voice, maybe one of the best I have heard in my life. He got to keep it after hitting puberty, such a blessing, truely one of the best vocalists of our time. In this video it gives me goose bumps seeing how Morissette knew what was coming, she knew what tune he was about to take and she just could'nt top it, although she did her best and found a lovely tune herself. The power in Darrens voice is something else..

They are not competing, this is what I like about the two of them singing together, walang sapawan. Theyre talking through their eyes and Mori urging him to go up there, we all know what Mori is capable of but for beautiful harmony she has to give way. Charles Choy actually his highest note in his mixed voice is an A5 while she can belt up to a bb5. And she can also sing higher whistle notes. And as if now he can’t really sing high notes due to puberty. Something she’s been passed. So as I stated before she let him have spotlight.

Morissette is so professional here. she has a voice range higher than Darren and also has better falsetto but she gives him the chance to show more of his skill and the spotlight. Morissette gives this performance on harmonic, nice backing, and awesome improvisation. Her experience has been shown here. it's like Darren as a driver and Morissette as a navigator in this performance. my favourite part is 3:00 (Morissette falsetto).

Maria higinia Gangawan thats because of the arranements of the song. you will notice that sometimes you can hear mori more than darren. sometimes its darren, thats because one of them must sing a 2-3 note lower to make a harmony, cause if they sing the same note at once you would not hear that hamonic blending. before you judge mori, better study music first. they are singing in almost the same range cause that was intended by the arranger. they have to follow the arrangement of song or else they'll be out of tune.
