I think Darren Espanto is now 21 years old.. but he was around 15 yo when they did that impromptu duet. You can watch Darren's cover of Fantasia's I Believe on Wish bus.. he was around the same age then. For recent performances, he had a medley during his birthday or his duet with Calum Scott for Heaven.

Darren was born in Canada to Filipino parents. Around the age of 12 he traveled to the Philippines to take part in the Voice Kids and came in second. He stayed in the Philippines (parents and sister still live in Canada) to hone his talent and get some mentorship. He quickly rose to status of pop idol and is likely in the top 3 most popular male vocalists in the PH. After his voice changed he developed a lower range but was able to keep his high range as well.

Darren has been performing internationally for eight years already. He has made a name of his own as early as 13 yrs old. He was 15 in this video. He represented the Philippines several times already. He is now dubbed as Asia's Pop Heartthrob. He can sing and dance. He can pull off different genres from pop, to rock, to ballad, R&B and even musical/classical/opera.
