I think the best thing you can do besides practicing a lot (slowly!) until the point where's nearly impossible for you to miss a note onstage, is to BE YOURSELF. Enjoy the performance! We play in front of people because there's people in front of us, and they are there to enjoy our performance. They don't care about nothing else :) So remember, the more you enjoy the performance yourself, the more the public will enjoy it!

+slystrings Thank you!! :) To record the violin I use a simple recorder (Zoom H1) connected to the computer and recorded with ProTools. The Zoom H1 is an inexpensive recorder which gives amazing results to record violins, in my experience even better than other much more expensive condenser mics.
