Lovely :) Did this journey back in 2018 Feb,,,, Took an overnight train to Udhampur from Delhi .... Took a shared cab from Udhampur to Banihal and finally this train journey :) Thankfully, the whole locality was covered with snow :)

Better take a sharing cab from Jammu to sgr directly. Should cost around 1000 and 5 to 6 hours in summer. And train will not take you to proper Srinagar. It will take another half an hour ride of a solo cab or a rickshaw if you take a train to srinagar
