I know this is an old comment, but do you know if the preamp in this sounds exactly the same as the TG2? Some say it doesn't but I don't know why.

@@DystopianOwl hi monej. The sound will Always be different because induction EQ always adds a layer of sound whether or not you cut or boost a frequency. Hope that helps

@@DystopianOwl I've never used the TG2 as a standalone unit, but with the EQ bypassed, it should be identical. Cheers.
