This keertan of Saint Purandara Dasa in kannada is so full of power both in raga and lyric is so superb that it brings tears to my eyes when I listen to it intensely.This keertan must have got born when the immortal saint visited a temple in a southern town on the bank of river Cauvery called kumbhapura 500 years back which I tried to locate but could not. If any one knows what it's present name is please share here in reply so that I can also visit that place and have that live experience Sri Purandara Dasa got..Soorygayatri's rendition is so soothing to the ears that one feels like listening again and again.Though she is a Malayali by birth her kannada pronunciation is perfect.It is remarkable that this has been viewed by more than 2 lac people within such a short time is a great tribute to her divine gift . She sings with devotion and dedication and she is one of the best when she sings devotional songs.
