This raaga is called Darbari Kanada, in both Hindustani and Carnatic Indian Classical Music. This version of chandrachooda is based on the above said raga only. Having said, the same song is tuned to a Ragamalika(Carnatic) also, which is usually rendered for Bharatanatyam. The ragamalika consists of raagas Shankarabharanam, Hamsanandhi, Todi and Khamas.
