It looks so much better! Black Chanel classic flaps usually have a burgundy interior (so you can see your stuff) but I don’t think the client knew that.

Yeah that's true - if I saw this and didn't know it was restored, I'd think it was a fake. Other than that, it's a decent job. I wonder why the gold finishings weren't covered to protect them from paint?

Wonderful work! Can I ask you how much approximately such work costs? I’m asking because I am considering to buy a pretty dirty and discolored rose / pink Jumbo Timeless and think it would be great to paint it purple. I think t’s would work well to choose a colour that is from the same colour family and just much darker tone. What do you think?

Did you apply anything after you finished dyeing so the dye wouldn’t rub off on her clothes? If not, she is going to have a lot of rub off. Also, why didn’t you use a saddle stitch on the handles? Would have been stronger.

You did a great job, but first you should do a preparation to make sure that the color you apply will absurb directly to the leather, then apply some finisher.

I have a Michael Kors quilted leather that I’ve been trying to restore and the leather is worn and a bit rough in spots like the bag you are working on. I used dye on it already as you did to start but I don’t know what the second pigment coat is you used to smooth out the worn rough bits. Can you please tell me what the product is called?

Hi Sue, I assume you mean did we clean it? Yes the leather needs to be cleaned and prepped before redyeing the bag otherwise the dye won't absorb into the leather. We did this the day before shooting the video. We've updated the description! Thanks, Jenny

You need to first take previous layers iff and start dying it afterwards. After thr first layer you remove excess dye that leather didn't soak in, and let it dry, and after start applying second layer.... These are basics

This seems a bit misleading since the leather preparing and the end coat process are missing. You must have gone around the logo with a fine brush later which is also glossed over. Anyone using this as a tutorial will end up with a giant mess. Quite irresponsible.

Pretreat a leather handbag before dying it you would use a light coat of olive oil
