Hi, thanks for sharing. However, just wanna share, the reissue is actually made of distressed calfskin leather and I highly discourage over stuffing it like that, the bag will get misshaped overtime. Thanks.

I think the boy is more casual chic and versatile while the jumbo/med to large cf is more feminie and elegent. best way is still to go to the boutique and try on yourself. All three bags r very easy to maintain, esp the cavier jumbo cf, shape wise, the reissue will get a big softer n slouchy as u use it cuz it's less structured, but the other two almost keep their shapes after couple yes of use. Overall they r not as delicate as we'd normally think:)

+Helina Alaestante Yes lived in the US for a couple of years. I personally prefer the flap, used to be the boy, but a year after purchasing and using it, i find myself going back to my flap all the time. It never grows old!

The Chanel CF is definitely a more classic piece but it's not as practical as the SL sac de jour. I love te SL bag very much and myself grabbing it all the time, the CF is more of a "on the shelf to admire" piece:) I'd get the SL bag.

Hey, great comparison and great video!! From your experience, what would you suggest as a first Chanel bag? I'm debating between the classic flap in caviar leather in size medium/large (one size smaller than the jumbo cause i'm 5 ft 4) or the Chanel boy in lambskin. I prefer the chanel timeless flap in caviar but i find the boy more beautiful in the smooth leather but maybe i should get the caviar anyway as it is more durable? What would you advise? :)

It all depends on your style and the occasion of use. If it's your first chanel I'll recommend getting the M/L classic flap cuz it's more versatile, you can dress it up and dress it down; the boy is a rather unfeminine bag so if you're very feminine dunno if you are able to pull it off. I'm in my twenties and i'd say my look is feminine, casual chic. The m/l flap would be a great bag for special occasions, going out at night, dinners etc... and the boy, a more casual bag for everyday use (for the days i don't work). Can't decide lol, i love both!! I just subscribed, hope to see more videos from you soon! :)

I‘d go with the reissue (size 226 or bigger)or cf (jumbo or maxi) simply because they're easier to pair up with, and the look is more versatile imo if you're planning to use it for multiple occasions. The boy bag is just too chic and trendy for your age, I guess you want something more classic and timeless. Good luck with the choice, don't forget to keep us posted!
