Great stuff, Ellie. I was really surprised to see such a well known, classic women's fragrance, with the word "intense" as part of the name. Normally you see a lot of fragrances marketed towards men with that in the title. Personally, I like the subtle tweaks of the intense version.

Hi Ed, There is a real difference between the two fragrances. After smelling the Intense version the EDP seems a bit insipid. I agree with the Intense comment you made. I am finding that with both men and women, the trend is for heavier, longer lasting perfume with a bit more oomph! This has sold really well for Mothers Day. x

Hey Elly Smells: your reviews are perfect! I’m a little disappointed with the performance of the Mademoiselle EDP.... just got a bottle for the first time and the juice doesn’t seem to last on me..... HELP. I even applied the Coco Mad Body Cream!!! It’s all just lasting maybe 2 hours!!!

Hi Cheraye. As you will probably guess I am a huge Chanel fan. Largely because of the history behind the brand and because of Gabrielle Chanel herself. I love the fact that everything pays homage to her past or is relevant to her life in some way. I have alot of favourites within the Chanel fragrances ,I am definitely a No5 and Original Coco girl. I also wear the no 19 poudree, adore the traditional green powderyness (is that a word?)on my skin. x

Mademoiselle smells like ylang ylang after a few minutes. I love it, but it doesnt last that long. It quickly changes to its base notes. I love ylang ylang.

I bought this from Boots and I can smell it faintly for five minutes ,then it fades, I have other Chanel perfumes ,and a lot of different scents , very disappointed indeed .
