CHANEL Cruise 2024/25 Show - CHANEL Shows​

CHANEL meets Marseille - CHANEL and Virginie Viard have chosen to present the Cruise 2024/25 collection in Marseille, the pulsating heart of the Mediterranean, at the crossroads of contemporary cultures.
In a film directed by Ladj Ly, with a choreography imagined by (LA)HORDE, dancers of the Ballet National de Marseille and dancer and friend of the House Marion Barbeau explore the landmarks of the Phocaean City, from the Vieux Port to the Cité radieuse.
The film of the CHANEL Cruise 2024/25 show will be revealed on Thursday, May 2nd at 6.30pm, Marseille time.
Choreography by (LA)HORDE - Marine Brutti, Jonathan Debrouwer, Arthur Harel.

What the hell was that? I mean it's a pretty cool ad but there is nothing Chanel about it. It looks more like an ad for a brand of urban clothes than for a luxury brand like Chanel that is suppose to portray French elegance. Franchement je suis extrêmement déçue, il serait tant que vous reveniez à votre élégance et votre sophistication d'antan...

I'd like to understand how this sort of campaign connects with the Chanel customer? Many years ago Karl said he did not get involved with the marketing side and that was left up to what I could only assume is another team. It appears that Chanel has since hired a bunch of inexperienced marketing graduates from top universities (who know nothing about the brand) to create their new campaigns that they think is 'cool' in an attempt to attract customers who live with their parents and have no sense of style or taste.
