I’m thrilled to get these pigments. I’m always in for the weird or gimmicky stuff from Chanel. I love it how they put out some strange stuff, without much explanation, without boxing you in to a single idea, and then it’s up to you to figure it out, and make it your own. The last good one was the gold eye gloss compact, loved it. I like to imagine how women in Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong or Dubai will use a product, and sometimes I find a video or two. I bought the two deepest shades in the pigment, I have nothing in my collection like that purple/black. I got the mauve blush and purple Bloom. So I’ve got the vampire look all planned out for the holidays. I still have my Bobbi Brown chalk pigment sticks from the 90s. Pigments don’t go bad.

Beautiful warm Fall look. The coral blush tempts me. Love how you showed it on the eyes too. The loose eyeshadows are beautiful but way too messy for me. Great review!

They'd be far too messy for me to, especially with small eyes. Everyone I've seen apply them, put the doe-foot straight to the lid. I just see a disaster!💖

Love the mauve rose blush! I’ll likely avoid the coral because I’ve only found one coral that doesn’t go too orange on me. Thanks so much for the demo; I enjoyed it.

I don't see much sense in the loose pigment shadows. It would be easier to grab a small single palette and quickly apply with a brush than watching for allout and pigment flying everywhere. As I have such small eyes, and especially with the short stumpy applicator would have terrible problems using these. The Coco Blooms appear if they are going to do exactly what the Chantecaille Lip Chic did and slide off the lip. Although, I really did like both blushes. I don't need them, as I have so many already, but they do look particularly nice on the lids. My favourite is the mauve, plum tone. It's just that they make them so large that with the tiny amount I would use, would hardly form a dent in the powder. I did purchase the Brun Roussi last year as a shade to give my complexion a sun-kissed appearance, which it was desperately in need of. Despite being very pale, it suited me perfectly, although it doesn't build too deeply as a blush. I need to get back into using it again. I will never understand why Chanel causes so much wastage, as they know we will never get to the bottom of one of these. These over-sized products are nothing but wasted product. I wish they would be more responsible and keep them to a realistic size. After buying all four Quads, I'm done! Thanks again Jen. Kiss to Harper.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

I received the Mauve Rose blush and the Acacia eyeshadow today. The Mauve Rose blush is gorgeous. I will have to play around with it a bit more since I have medium olive skin and it comes on lightly. I already have two pinky coral blush colors from other brands and didn't need another one. The Acacia loose eyeshadow is stunning (think rose gold). I ended up putting my blending brush inside the bottle, and before pulling it out, I lightly tap the brush against the side, then blending it thoroughly on my eyes with no fallout issues.

I LOVE these and I have oily eyelids and it stays and most don’t !! The lightest shade you can go directly on your lid .. but yep the rest I like to take a brush and go from the dough foot .. I don’t care about the fall out .. just go light handed on the darker colors at first and then add .. I LOVE these !! I am 56!! I also think my eyes are bad , so I don’t really see everyone’s issues with the fallout .. 😂😂. Just have to use some concealer on the outer corner of your eyes at the end and clean it up ..

Well said! I'm 53 with hooded eyes and oily eyelids and I cannot wait to get these eyeshadows to enjoy their pigmentation and staying power. I plan to tap a little product onto a mixing plate and apply with a brush from there. I've got enough makeup, so looking for something different/interesting and I'm finding that in this eyeshadow formula.

I have bought a lot from their 2 new collections and I am excited .. so far so good with the quad / these / lips / and I have the blush (cooler ) toned coming .. YEAH FOR OVER 50 being EXCITED about makeup .. lol .. hooded eyes here too .. lots of creasing .. I am just learning to put it higher on the lid like she teaches us 🥰

I had the MAC blue brown pigment, and I always made a mess and finally I bought empty pans and pressed it, haha! I was interested and curious so I bought 1 of the loose pigments in the cuivre, I figured I couldn’t go wrong with copper on my brown eyes. I imagine I’ll dot it on my hand and then work from there. So, kinda annoying that they are messy, but points to Chanel for giving us something a little different. And the packaging is stunning. I also ordered both blushes. I love that you used them on your eyes as well!

I enjoyed you mentioning your MAC loose pigment collection because I have my Bare Minerals loose pigment collection of shadows, blushes and more. They are used in the cap too, so the product stayed clean. In fact, this Chanel launch has inspired me to take another look at using them. I have over 100 eye colors alone. And I have similar shades to this launch. This whole group is a pass for me. I may pick up the Cristal palette from Byzance. And my SA says there's a holiday collection coming later. Chanel is dropping new products so fast I can't keep up. Thanks for the video!💚

Maybe the blush in the cooler shade, the loose shadows i do not know, i have quite sensitive eyes, and even when using Suqqu or Chantecaille, Koh Gen Do, CDP etc, i close my eyes mostly after i made a plan where i want to put the shades. Hopefully, this will give you plenty of time to decide which Quad/s will be suited to you. I ordered mine a few weeks ago and have had much time to acquaint myself with them. All I've been seeing over YT is no-one quite sure how to use them. I bought all four and glad that there are two that are softer, yet still can be amped up and then the two, Baroque and Impériale that are meant to be worn pigmented in a more editorial way. They have a jewel-tone story behind then for a reason, yet no-one is applying them in this manner. It's not often that Chanel serves us up such delights and I wanted to make the most them. Cristal is still my favourite as a palette used on its own, yet the shades can be mixed and matched with much fun from the other Quads. Hope you enjoy your delights.💎

@@traceyevansbuhr The Highlighters have been available in Australia since the Quads became available. They weren't part of a Holiday Collection. We haven't even seen the Holiday Collection yet. These releases we're seeing are Northern Hemisphere Autumn Collections. Unless, the Highlighters are being held over until your Holiday Collection, but it doesn't make sense to do this.🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi Jennifer if you tap the top the loose shadow against the bottle up and down without pulling it out you will not get fall out. I learned this trick with another KZbin video her name is Cheri Voyage.

I don’t currently own son, but it was my go to for like a decade. Based on swatches, I’d say the nars has more beige, and will also be much more luminous.

@@celinag9968 I'm surprised that Sin would be more beige, as it seems pretty much mauvey-berry-plummy?? Luminosity is definitely up there. I like it, but find I have to go in VERY lightly (it's very pigmented and I'm VERY fair skinned), and wear time longevity could be better (if I recall, haven't worn it recently). Every year I watch the new blush releases (Dior, Chanel, Suqqu, etc...) hoping for something in this color family and this new one from Chanel does look appealing!

The loose pigments are so messy and I don't like the delivery method, which is why I'm passing on them. Such a shame as there's at least a couple of shades that I really like. I'm happy to have been able to pick up the quad 318 VÉNITIENNE and the new red nail polish 147 INCENDIAIRE. I don't need another blusher so I'm passing on them. Lots of love 💗🤍💗🤍💗🤍💗

Ok. Let’s be salty. The powder shadows are messy, and that applicator is too small. I mean. You get some looks, but it doesn’t hit bottom of pan. And for the cost ?? No. I think using a brush would be better than trying that NUB. Although the colors I do love. They blush is nice

Ooph the blushes are almost too pigmented for me. And the quad they did that can be used for blush & highlight as well as eyeshadow- I can barely get any payoff. Why can’t they just put out a buildable formula that works for everyone…
