If it wasn’t for my KZbin channel I most likely would have skipped this fall collection as well. I may reconsider and just purchase 1 of the palettes and perhaps skip the purple palette since it seems most people aren’t really interested in it. That green nail polish is beautiful though

Surprisingly I loved best the peach blush despite being obsessed with pink! Cant wait to see what you are going to create with the new eyeshadows, they are right up my street! Im 52 and finally feel I can wear whatever colours I want!!!

Over a decade ago, Chanel released cream to powder blushes. They had a soft matte finish and were gorgeous. I don’t know why Chanel discontinued them. Flash forward and here they are again. They obviously have a new selection of colors and a new formulation. I loved the old version and am looking forward to giving this new iteration a try. The pink shades look lovely on you and I agree with you about wanting a change from all the peaches and corals we’ve been wearing.

Yes! I remember those blushes however I believe those were more creamy in the pan, it was such a long time ago but I also do remember loving them.

These blushes are stunning! Though no shimmer there’s a radiance to them. They aren’t flat matte. I’m not a fan of super matte blushes. I picked all 5 from the boutique.

Hi Sarah! Thank you for your comment. I generally do some highlights once to twice a year and keep it as more of a balayage style. I always ask my hairdresser for natural highlights that would match my true hair color. In the past I’ve gone too light with my highlights and it just didn’t feel like myself. I prefer a more caramel look with some low lights. I also use purple shampoo once a week and when I trim my hair every 6-8 weeks I ask for a toner so the highlights keep their color without going brassy especially since I don’t color my hair often

Those fall eye shadow quads are hideous. They are not "interesting" really. They are for teenagers and 20-somethings to wear at clubs. I just bought a gorgeous old Tom Ford brown neutral eye shadow quad on e bay and I love it. It has four colors and three are matte.

That purple palette is definitely not something we would expect from Chanel. I’m not overly excited for the fall collection but nonetheless it is interesting that Chanel would choose these kind of shades. I guess they had so many good releases this year they were bound to create a collection that was mediocre. I would say if I didn’t have a KZbin channel I most likely would have skipped the entire fall collection. I’m definitely skipping the blushes out of the fall collection and I may reconsider and just purchase 1 of the eyeshadow palettes for a review since most people aren’t interested in the purple palette. Swatched them yday, a bit disappointed that all the shade not really shown on medium skintone. Only the deeper shade that really pop up on my skin. But i really like the idea that this blush not for blush blindness folks 😂

Hi Sara! Im watching again this video because you mention that you believe the lavender blush would not look good on you as it may be a bit too light. Do you have the pink lilac blush from Dior? I was wondering if both blushes would be alike? I have the same color you have, also wear 2N Dior foundation, and I was looking forward for the lavender blush… Should I get the Dior one instead? I prefer Chanel make up so much more…

Yes I did purchase the lilac blush by Dior, I do have a review on it and really love it. Unlike the Chanel the Dior lilac blush has a pink undertone so it looks lovely on the cheeks. I haven’t seen the new Chanel lilac blush in person but from the swatches I’ve seen online it looks very light

Hi I’ve listened to your video 3 times and can’t figure out which is the blush you put on second because that’s the one I’d like to buy. Also I love your lipstick but when I looked it up the lipstick seemed much darker than the one you’re wearing. Sorry I don’t usually get this mixed up. Thank you.

The second shade I tried on is Rose Ardent and the lipstick is rouge allure velvet Nuit Blanche in shade 6. I lightly applied the lipstick as if it’s a stain to give a more subtle effect. A timeline including description and what I applied on as well as when in the video is all listed in the description box. Hope it helps.
