This time around atelier Virginie Ward hit it right out of the park. A return to Chanel's classicism and the love affair of the opulent tweed with beading, embroidery and a variety of color for dreary grey days of winter. All the models were beautiful and radiant on a chilly english night in the lovely and cleaned/historical Manchester city. Mademoiselle Virginie always keep in mind that classics, glamour, embellished feminine style is number one at Chanel.

Absolutely true! I've heard critics say Virginie's collections are "too blah" because they're back to the basics and don't appear to have a lot of originality. The thing is, its those basics that attract the clients. I keep watching this collection over and over again: it is the perfect Chanel design. Three cheers for Virginie!

Boring maybe, but all these clothes are wearable right off. Realistic. Many of the clothes from couture houses are creative fantasy, more of an art exhibition than anything real women in real streets and townscapes can wear safely. Not that we all have the money. I appreciate clothes that are reachable if we really want them. Congratulations Chanel…..you are onto something that I hope will really take off.

Ah, 90’s retro vibe Chanel... very nice. These pretty colors and classic styles hearken back to how Queen Elizabeth dressed always with her black pumps. But the 60’s-80’s music is distracting and ill-fitting.

It’s a 1960’s inspired collection, that’s why the music. Just google Chanel 1966 or any other year in that decade, it’s all ripped from the archives. It’s a strange choice, because the set seems to highlight the Manchester slums of the sixties rather than something more “pretty” like Piccadilly Gardens…

It is boring but it is realistic and cute. You can use these clothes everyday and everywhere. Vivienne concept is to promote a market, not to visually please an audience who cannot afford this type of clothing. Karl was a genius but he's gone and everyone knows his talent is irreplaceable.

Похоже, и "Шанель" сейчас Китай мастерит...😊 Стиль 60-х люблю, но тут он не в лучшей версии.И все такие КОСОЛАПЫЕ, поскольку обувь без небольшого каблучка хотя бы, даже ортопедическая обувь должна быть с каблучком 3-5 см! Гробят женские ножки этой УЖАСНОЙ обувкой - ни красы, ни пользы.
