Congrats. IMO, it’s better to buy one you really like that you can use it day and night, rather than buying lots of different ones that you use a few times and leave in the wardrobe. I have been buying Chanel bags since 2009, I have not sold any of mine, all aging well and very versatile. I have been lucky to get Caviar, they still look like I bought them yesterday. I also have patent leather, very good too. Lambskin leather, I would avoid. But these days, they mainly do lambskin. Enjoy your bag, it’s not a waste of money if you use it and make you happy. ❤

It was the SA’s fault for not giving you his name or something that can prove that you have an appointment. I was in Bond St., London and the SA just ripped out a random piece of paper and wrote down his name. It wasn’t anything formal no emails no WhatsApp either and I just came back with that piece of paper with his name on it, and I showed it to the security outfront and he let me in without having to queue , despite being a very crowded day.

I just purchased my first bag, a wallet on chain (technically a slg) today at Saks. It’s lambskin with gold hardware (black). Very expensive, but it’s beautiful. The other bags are so so expensive but yours is beautiful as well 🥰. Oh and supporting since I’m 🇳🇬 too!

Sweet! I purchased my small classic flap bag last weekend. I tried on the medium as well and it looked good on me but I ultimately went with the small. Yes definitely you will be buying more Chanel bags. I thought I would be satisfied with just one but I have 3 now though all preloved. My first one was black too in lambskin and is 25 years old. Lambskin is not as delicate as people say :)

Thank you so much! The only thing I'd say is try the malls (Bon Marche and Galleries Lafayette) first and get there bright and early so you don't have to wait too long on the queue. Foreigners are also entitled to a VAT tax refund so make sure you bring your passport with you! Good luck!
