I just received my Chanel Reissue today from Fashionphile and it was so beautiful in excellent condition. After watching your video I decided to buy preloved instead from a boutique. Glad I did because I saved a lot of money. Thank you for making this informative video because I learned so much.

I'm so happy that you love your new bag! I personally haven't experienced any of the cons you mentioned with my Reissues. I think you will find the lock much easier to find and close with time. The chain to me feels more comfortable than the classic flaps with the leather because it is flat against my shoulder. Also, the gorgeous chain looks like jewelry and that makes me happy just to see it and touch it. I know what you mean about bonding right away with a handbag. The Reissue is such an easy bag to love! Can't wait for more reviews from you on this beauty. By the way, I carry a reusable rolled-up bag in my purse to pull out in case of rain. It's saved my Louis Vuitton vachetta more than once!

I actually prefer reissue over classic flap. Reissue seems to be more casual bag; it doesn't scream Chanel yet bag lovers recognise it. If I ever decide to get a Chanel bag, it'll be reissue.

Oh and this bag is PERFECT for all weather. I used to live in the UK which rains a lot and my bag has taken plenty of beating in the sleet and snow and rain and it's still held up :) Love the hidden pocket for my passport too.

I recently purchased the Reissue and I love all the wrinkles and history behind the bag!!Thanks to you, I finally store all my bag out of the box, just in the dust bag, it was a process as I thought they were "safer"in the box :) This is the second chanel bag I now have. I also have the Coco handle. One question I do have is what do youdo with the chain when you store the bag? I have heard if the chain lays on the bag it causes dents in the leather? Hi Minnie I’m not at the classic flap/reissue level yet, but I’ve just ordered a pre-loved re-issue lucky charm woc, I’m super excited as it’s a gift from my husband as I’m celebrating 5 years cancer free, and it has a number 5 Charm on it (it was meant to be). Reissue is my favourite Chanel just as Kelly is my favourite Hermes. All my Chanels will probably be Reissue that's how much I love it. You really did a great job on this one. I don't think I could've added anything as a fellow Reissue user. My Reissue is 9 years old now and the craftsmanship and quality beat that of a new mini to the curbs. I ended up selling the mini and from now on only searching for pre-loved Reissues. Good thing they don't hold their value...

I only hope one day real soon you will explain more about this bag and the Fashionphile process for those of us who don't know. Like what the numbers mean - 226 and 2.55 both can't be the size or am I wrong? Was there a code under tape inside of this bag? You stated this bag is like Brand New but was listed as VERY GOOD condition-what was listed about it that kept it from being Excellent or Brand New condition on the site? Basically, I'm trying to learn as much as I can about Chanel as well as Fashionphile and their process. I am a researcher too and if I do take the Fashionphile route I want my Chanel Classic purchase and experience to be just like yours...PERFECT! TFS&I 😘💕

The bag is called the 2.55 (February, 1955) reissue. 224, 225, 226 AND 227 are the sizes. 224 is a mini, 225 small, 226 medium, etc. She does a great job comparing the reissue sizes to the classic flap sizes! I would like to hear more about resale also.

I love the reissue but to be honest I looked at it for a long time and do not like all the winkles. My SA told me just wait as Some years the calfskin comes in much less wrinkled. Sure enough that’s what happened this year. Mine has very few winkles and she said it should stay that way. She said when a bag has a very wrinkled look it was that way from the beginning and will get worse over the years that’s why older bags look that way. How old is your bag?? She also told me to store it standing that’s why I use mine flat on the bottom and store that way. I love the chain is perfect length for cross body too.

Hi babe, fantastic review ❤️ I have the same reissue (226, ghw) & have worn it loads of times, including getting caught in sudden rain. Never had any issue 😊 The aged calfskin wears like rock & bounces back to life after a wipe with tissue or dry soft cloth. Wear her in bountiful happiness & great health!! XOXO...

Love that bag. I have the bag in pink and I love it because it’s so light. After seeing your video, I now want a black one. I wanted to get your views on an article in the New Yorker magazine. Many Chinese factories near Tuscany are making luxury goods for the fashion houses. The article mentions a few that I was very surprised to see. I found the article as well on line and you can the audio on . Please comment on thisbecause it says made in Italy and it’s made by the Chinese factories in Italy.

Does yours inner flap close properly? Mine is really hard to close and the first one I got was even worse. Just like the flap is made too short and can't reach the female button unless I really pull and stretch it. But the leather of the two reissue I got are totally different, one is more puffy and another one is more flat.

Hi mini nice video. I got reissue 227 week ago from real real, now I noticed back of lock is different than my friends reissue. Just looks like boy bag hard wear ( star shape) . Classic looks one line screw. I email to real real but they said they only carries authentic items so, what should I do ? I still have big doubts in my mind . Help please. Thank you

Ok so reissue has a few sizes. The 224 is a double flap but it's also a mini version of the classic flap mini size. Only available in rectangle size and hard to find! 225 is the small but is in between the Cf med to large. 226 is medium and in between CF large and jumbo 227 is the large and in between the jumbo and maxi 228 which is very rare is basically a maxi. So if you're like me and find CF medium too small, chains too short andu like crossbody and more comfortable chains, I'd go the reissue. I have one and love it :)
