I wonder if Chanel outsources their accessories to be made in other countries where the quality checks are not so stringent? I totally agree that one should never accept ‘no’ for an answer especially when it’s clear that you’re being fobbed off. You know it’s such a valid point, Chanel doesn’t do much glazing on there pieces, everything is usually stitched and it’s what I love so much about Chanel. I remember the moment I saw all the glazing on the case I knew it was going to be an issue! I was so obsessed with the tweed that I allowed that to cloud my judgment (pretty things get me everytime 🤦🏻‍♀️ ☺️). Thanks so much mama, it’s unfortunate the lengths I had to go to, but in the end it was resolved so I’m content. Hope you have a great workacation ahead ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Omg, this situation would have totally make me go to the deep end - these are expensive pieces. I can’t believe that you had such a hard time getting someone to help you! I’m glad you finally got it fixed but I wonder if other people would have been as successful. I think their quality of many of their newer items are really poor and feel cheap - not luxurious at all. I was close to the deep end Maggie 😅 I was not going to let this go until they fixed it, but I agree such a pricey item shouldn’t have that kind of experience attached. I will say it was more of a Neiman Marcus issue as my experience with Chanel wasn’t nearly as infuriating. Quality wise it’s my first experience with bad execution. Totally agree with you mama, really appreciate you watching 🥰

Sadly I am not surprised by the run around you went through. Glad it was fixed but I have had the experience of being ignored as well when I had an issue with an item a department store. It is so hard to have follow up from anyone if they are not making a sale. Thank you for sharing your story. You look great today mama. Glad to hear your daughters are feeling better now. Maybe because I never had to, I was surprised by the lack of response 😱 it was outrages to me and honestly made me more upset than the case itself 😅. I agree though Neiman Marcus was a TOTAL disappointment and in the future I would go directly through the 800 number than bothering with Neimans. I’m so grateful I caught his video, we can all learn from one another and just reminds me how amazing this community can be 🥰. Hope you are enjoying a beautiful weekend❣️

Thank you for sharing this!! It's so reasonable to ask for this repair and glad the 800 number helped :) I've noticed a lot of quality issues in the recent collections and afraid of the potential aftercare service. Definitely will stick to the Robinson store vs. Neiman from now, thanks!

Isn’t that the truth! I recently had an amazing experience with a non luxury company and I’m pretty floored with there after care service. It’s what you’d expect from Chanel. The whole thing blew my mind. But absolutely keep the 800 line in mind, they are top notch. Thanks so much for watching 🥰

What bothered me most about this is the run around you received just asking for what is right and just. These SLG’s aren’t cheap! I also find it ridiculous these luxury fashion houses ignore these common glazing issues, yet you don’t see them with less costly brands like Coach or Tory Burch. So glad they fixed it. I love that color❣️❣️

Honestly it was more Neiman Marcus than Chanel itself, but I totally agree with you, the entire experience was maddening and OFFENSIVE! I’ve bought $5 to $30 with NO issues so this was completely absurd and unacceptable. Totally agree, contemporary brands actually have no issues! It’s eye opening. Honestly whenever I have a Chanel problem they are soo unhelpful! It’s shouldn’t be hard to have good after sales care for items that are soo expensive!

I would SO CARE about the glazing right from the beginning. All I would say is HELL NO!!! The sad thing is that I am seeing more Chanel products coming out with problems. It is not a good thing.

It really was unexpected for the price point. I’m glad they fixed it, but the quality just isn’t there on this piece. Which informs me a lot about Chanel tweed actually 😳! Hope your having a great weekend Lily 🥰
