To be honest I was waiting for a disaster but it wasn't. Some people in the comment said "it's boring" but I disagree with them. It's not a revolution fortunately but it's perfectly wearable. I would say I like it.

I always find it interesting that a house like Chanel would prioritize continuity over quality presentation. This isn't a" bad" collection, but it's so painfully archival that it seems like it would be better for them to do a lookbook or a smaller presentation rather than push a team that isn't primed for this type of stage. I will say this though: the shoes are incredible and if I didn't know better, I would say this was an improvement in many ways to what Virginie was doing. I appreciate the deliberate attention to fit, even with the more relaxed silhouettes. Everything is beautifully wearable. There's a fresh air quality. And there's really clothes for all sorts of people. Ages, body types. It feels inclusive which is a very good move for a staid house like Chanel.

At least the models had beautiful hair and makeup in this Chanel runway show, and actually looked like women, unlike so many other shows where the women look like men....who are dressed up like women. This collection is not 'avant-guard', but that's perfectly OK - it is just comprised of wearable Chanel outfits, that stay true to the Chanel aesthetic. And that is refreshing, in and of itself.

If by "young" you mean casual and sexy, then I have to say that these clothes are meant for a more formal environment. Not studying in the library or shopping with friends, but lunch at the Ritz, a charity fundraiser, that sort of thing.

I would bet on the fact that Chanel will announce the lead designer at the next couture show. I would also bet that Jeremy Scott is working and living off site to fine tune his craft and learning from those who do the cutting and sewing hands on. Chanel Is a privately owned company they can afford to just keep still waiting creates anticipation and the only person who make the lights come on at the cash registers is Mr Jeremy Scott.

Chanel is a business. Lagerfeld understood the business which is a business of selling. He was very good at that he made it seem like he didn’t do anything with that he understood the business very well. business hence why they the owners pay for everything he ever did or wanted Jeremy Scott understands the business. He understands the globalization of the manufacturers Fashion is not as design. The clothingS ott understands the manufacturing process and logistics of it. Scott did very well DINO I basically it was a steppingstone for now that’s all it is. Can you make Chanel fun again and also more interesting again you have to admit like for being there the showman that he was it got kind of boring but boring not a bad thing. Chanel is better than the fact that they can be boring for a little bit longer, and then create the amount of excitement that keeps them in business. You have to realize that the owners of Chanel probably at this point have as much money as the owner of LVH a private company that makes anywhere between estimated value 10 or $20 billion a year. Do that for 50 years and see how much money you have.

The song is not the one she actually sang-this channel obs does not pay for copyright on the music so they have dubbed it over. It is Elvis's granddaughter-riley keogh. Other channels are playing the original song by Prince-and she did an incredible job-worth a watch.
