Ingenious resizing with a heat gun. Haven't seen that technique before. But in the US we use thicker PVC pipes than you're using in Peru. Still, fun to watch.

The fact that this PVC pipe can be remoulded so easily tells me it’s probably not going to last. No wonder it cracked in the first place 😂

I would use this method as a "temporary" repair only. There should be a way to get the old pipe out from the inside and run a new length through the brick wall. I like his ingenuity, but I would be concerned about the pipes cracking again, especially if something hits it outside.

You know doing that creates blockage overtime. Due to the fact that the part you have inserted is an outlet for the drainage. Particules will keep gathering and then eventually its blocked up.

that was the first thing I thought of when I saw him stick that piece of pipe in there if there's more than water coming through there that's going to cause a problem and then they might have to tear the wall out if they can't get under the house to it not a good way to do plumbing
@trevor5379
@trevor5379 2 жыл бұрын
With the orientation of the pipe and the wall, the only thing i could think is it's for a sump pump discharge. Otherwise why is there pipe outside where you can hear cars? And it's 1.5". So that limits your uses as well
