How did your midterm go, and did you take subsequent math classes?

@@PunmasterSTP Midterm went well. I got an A in the class. And yes, I’ve taken subsequent math classes, including ordinary differential equations, calculus IV, discrete math, and analysis and optimization. The solid foundation in linear algebra has been really helpful in several of those subsequent classes!

@@christopherandrewmartin494 I'm really glad to hear that! I think I've heard of ODE referred to as calculus IV or vice versa; were you referring to two different classes, and if so, what was the difference between them?

@@PunmasterSTP I was referring to two different classes. Calculus IV is concerned with multi-variable and higher-dimensional calculus. ODE is concerned with finding general and particular solutions to differential equations that contain functions of one independent variable (hence the "ordinary").

@@lyricass7810 Maybe it’s just that different explanations click with different people. I’d also seen this material before so this was more of a review for me. Perhaps I would have had a different impression if I was new to this topic…

The picture was only a sketch for b_2. We didn't know the coordinates at the beginning. I just visualised the idea.
