Change of Responsibility Ceremony: Army Chief of staff and sergeant major of the Army

Ryan D. McCarthy, acting secretary of the Army, host a Change of Responsibility ceremony from Gen. Mark A. Milley, 39th Chief of Staff of the Army, to Gen. James C. McConville, 40th Chief of Staff of the Army. Sgt. Maj. of the Army Daniel A. Dailey, the 15th Sergeant Major of the Army also transfers his responsibilites to Command Sgt. Maj. Michael A. Grinston, the 16th Sergeant Major of the Army, at Joint Base Myer Henderson Hall, Va., Aug. 9, 2019.
