Change printer settings to color

Hi. When I was printing before, there are options on the left if you are to print color or black and white. Now it’s gone. Is there any way to put that back instead of me managing it in properties?

This problem I’m having with my office jet pro if anyone can find a solution please let me know I was able to print colour before and since the update it took that away n I don’t understand it I been trying to fix it for ages n honestly I wanna throw it away it’s driving me mad trying to fix it I wanna cry 😭 I just want my colour back

To change it in black & white.. Just click the Black & white button.. Near at the Color?? Is it changeable?

what if your printer isnt even giving you the option of color?

Select your printer- Right click and Go to printer preferences and then click on Maintenance. there you will get the option of going to Ink Cartridge Setting. click that and select any color you want on your printer.

Hey, My printer is hp and I have insta ink. If I print from the email, the photo is beautiful. If I print from my laptop, the photo is black and white and the ink can smear. What are my options to fix this?

I'm guessing that when you print from your laptop that you are going through a Windows photo viewer to print. If that's the case, there should be an options button to click, on the photo preview page. Then go into the printer preferences to change it to print in color.

Hi Rick, I am having big problems. I am unable to select printer properties in the print window. I click on it and nothing happens. I following your video on disconnecting the printer spool, but nothing is working. I am unable to print in color. I have tried to change the ink, disconnected the entire printer and nothing is happening. Please help!

I would recommend going through the start menu or control panel and find your printer. See if you can change the default settings to color that way.
