When I purchased bulbs at store, they gave me the 9005 for the high beam and fog light. Both of these are out on my jeep cherokee, but when I followed these instructions, the bulb currently in my car looks completely different. Do you think I purchased the wrong bulbs, or are the bulbs in the car wrong and that’s why they’re out? Just asking before I open the bulbs and can’t return them since they were pretty pricey.

Be sure to google for the bulb type of any vehicle first, read the manual or take out the old bulb first to check what bulb you need. Even the years can be different even if the model is the same design. My 2014 Jeep Cherokee latitude uses a 9012 bulb. So different models seem to have different bulbs.

You might want to make people aware the ones you link to in Amazon may not fit. The standard Xenon HID lights in my car have a different wire connection than the ones you indicate and the bulbs do not fit in my 2017 Cherokee Latitude. I had to buy the standard 35W bulbs which have a square base and they do not have a wire connector, just a plug input at the base. It would be wise to remove the bulb first to see whether it is compatible with your LED brand or my stock HID bulb.

I’m having this problem now I ordered the part this guy suggested and it was not compatible with my connector therefore I soldered a compatible pigtail wiring system so that it could fit properly and when I did that the light flashed once and never came on again now I before I put the led in after converting over my headlight wiring system it read 14 volts and after the light flashed it read .3 volts when testing it with a multimeter what do I do now please help because I now have no headlights because of this issue

Being that LED headlights have a fan on them, won't they overheat since they're sealed in with that moisture cover?

Those bolts don’t have to be taken out, that square cover on the liner itself can be pulled back so you can get to the headlight, but if you want more room and visibility then it works out 👍🏼

Those bolts do have to be removed. There is no opening, it's just made to look that way. Plus the front of the wheel liner is riveted to another part, so good luck thinking you'll just pop out the wheel liner.

Sorry to hear that some vehicles may not be compatible. You can go back to halogen from AutoZone.

There are videos on that too. There are screws, that require a long screwdriver to reach, to adjust/aim the headlights vertical and horizontal.

You are only changing the BULB not the headlights assemblyu
