Thank you, Jim. Helpful. Mostly I believe nothing is wrong but docs, Physio’s etc and worst of all, my friends and family think they know better and don’t hesitate to express opinions and say what I should do. I never start the symptoms conversation but they do and I often feel I need to divorce them all and live on a mountain top to get away from their constant worry about my state of movement. Even lovely, well meaning folk wanting to assist (I’m using crutches to move) are bugging me. I find myself avoiding wanting to go anywhere.

❤️ FWIW Emerg docs see it have opp effect. Even serious cases patient or loved ones may delay/stop much needed treatment due to fear. Good docs/nurses will help work thru but hard if time is tight. Saying "It's just your emotions" makes people with emotional or mental health issues doomed? We know nothing is physically wrong but changing your perception about how you feel requires lying to yourself, thus suppressing your feelings - the very cause of symptoms according to Dr. Sarno. Is this the ultimate cycle of pain? Also, I wonder if those people on sugar pill experienced drop in their cholesterol- are some people more prone to nocibo vs placebo effect?

That’s interesting. I have chronic pain(deemed to be fibromyalgia) and also a tight chest/breathlessness which worsens going up hills/stairs. I’d be keen to find out more about air hunger.

That's completely normal, keep going, and don't focus on the symptoms. It's just a nervous system state...stay safe!

@@tiffanypj398try to learn about the emotional release(trapped emotions in the body). Maybe in the process of re-wiring your brain past conditioning/emotions are being processed/released -stuff in your subconscious mind- and maybe nightmares could be a manifestation of some of that. Keep it going.Remind yourself that you are safe, use breathing/humming practices to help further regulate your nervous system and send signals of safety from your body to your brain.Thats a (healing/thriving) journey🙏🏾.

@@tiffanypj398 I don’t know what’s going on with your nightmares but I have bad nightmares as well, I’ve only been watching these videos and some others for six weeks pretty much nonstop as much as possible. My nightmares are much better. Try talking to your brain and telling it what you wanted to dream wasn’t dreams with beauty love etc.If you are spiritual or even if you’re not try praying to whoever it works for me a lot of times they often forget to do it. Jesus says in the Bible I promise you Peaceful sleep. So I say God you promised peaceful sleep, but I’m calling for peaceful sleep tonight and every night. It works if you remember to do it right before you go to sleep decide what you want your dreams to be. The brain is powerful it listens. Or you can do affirmations I have wonderful dreams my dreams are always relaxing stress-free and beautiful. I know what it’s like to have nightmares it’s awful and I have TMJ just makes me grind even more so this is a biggie for me. I hope it helps
