Fun tidbit..i found you back in the day when you did quite a bit of auto videos and have been following ever since. I was that person that started out growing autos and boy do i agree you either start learning fast or throw in the towel. I solely started with autos because i was worried about light leaks since i didn’t have a tent back then. Fast forward now i have 2 tents and have a perpetual 8 plant grow going. And yuup still all autos lol. But now i grow some thick sexy ladys and that’s genuinely all thanks to you ❤ keep doing you 😊

Hey scene I belive that sea of green and screen of green are to different things. The screen is when you trellis and the sea of green is when you have large numbers of plants in like 1 gal containers and you fit as many in your space that will fit. And it's not a big detail to get hung up on but I didn't want people to get the wrong info.

Just finished my first grow. 5.3oz from an auto. It veged for 35 days.. became a 5" moster, taking my whole grow. I harvest a little early still, at day 91. Im so mad at myself, but at the same time, her PH on my dwc set was all over the place, since its roots became stupidly massive. Hahaha overall, light high, with awesome flavor, but I definitely will try 40/60 on trichomes next time

Autos are for beginners because you dont have to knock 6 hours off the cycle to get flowers. But they never tell you once that seed pops your on a dam timer yourself. Every mistake affects the yield. However i started with autos and did some photos and everything was super easy. But i did learn the hard way, paid my dues!! First auto grow i had the light way to close and way to intense so it was great gettin a shitload of sour d auto seeds. And im pretty sure i overwatered the entire time. At least until i had puddles unddr my unelevated fabric pots. This all was ofcourse after the transplant. Lol
@chrisfrank677611 ай бұрын
Both autos I have done never grew past 13-14 inches tall, and I got 20 g. Dried from my last one I grew, so I don't think I will do any training on the next ones, seems like it slows them down. Since I live in New York I'm planning on throwing a few autos into the back yard sometime in June maybe early July
@chriscastleberry658411 ай бұрын
The smart way to run autoflowers in my opinion i say if You were trying to run a certain amount of regular photo period and a couple of them ended up turning out male and you had to throw them out. And you're trying to flip to 12/12 that's a good time For auto seeds.

Doing my first auto now, I was under the impression that it didn't matter what light cycle they are on, that they are on a schedule and thats how it is. The mainline thing is making me nervous and jerky. I just ever so gently topped it by rolling that top bud out with my thumbnail. Cheers.

Like I had to really think about and if the autos gonna flip really early, it's not like you're gonna sacrifice much but if it's gonna veg for a little while, could really be worth it once you take into consideration of risk to reward factor.

A tip for beginners that tend to over water or just a mistake made by anyone in the Dixie cup stage before putting your soil in the cup use ankle length pantyhose as a inside mesh I know it sounds crazy but it's less messy and you can dry your soil out faster to keep from root root because it's breathable and will keep your dirt together in a pouch once the dirt dries place it back in the cup you can use a a regular sock also clean not your old gym socks lol

Gotta admit I have no experience with autos. I'm kind of old school. As a side note, true sativas, like thai stick and vietnam black kind of act like autos. Wont flower till they're ready. Then of course flower takes forever and plants get humongous. I have a closet for S.E.A. sativas. They're not worth growing if you look at um only in terms of time and money, but they're the best sativa... I might try autos sometime but I dont really see an advantage for me. Seems to me the genetics for Autos is all over the place. Some strains are super touchy and some, like the Iranian Hash Autoflowers I've grown, are tougher. Those are almost like photos. One turned out to be a photo, lucky I had the room inside going for flower so I moved it there. I had one in the ground that grew over 6 feet and gave a half pound. It was an Auto because it started flowering a few weeks before all the photos. Other strains will get a foot high and flower no matter what you do.
