The 09 bankruptcy completely changed the direction of this park. They never got that hotel, park upkeep declined, and shows and parades disappeared basically. I love Great Adventure but I’ve noticed how these things have changed over the years. The big kicker though was the thrill coasters they added after 2006. Most of them weren’t well received by the general public except for Jersey Devil. I think Cedar Fair is going to update Great Adventure and make it more like the legacy Cedar Fair parks as you said in the last video. I don’t think Great Adventure is ugly by any means. I think it’s alright but definitely can be improved. The big thing though is Ka’s replacement. It needs to be a great ride and nothing less. If it’s not great then Great Adventure could take a serious hit.

Magic Mountain had two skyways and all the towers are gone. Same for Great America, Kings Island, Kings Dominion and Disneyland/ Disney World. Nevertheless it’s a travesty that they are taking it down…it was a great way to see the whole park and be transported to the east end of the park. Looks like only Cedar Point and BGW will still have skyway rides in the area. I feel like Cedar Fair is removing things out of spite. #Geauga Lake

So many things up in the air. What will be made of the area next to Medusa where the arena was? What rides are next to go (Superman? Dark Knight?). Will Nitro EVER be repainted? I think the next few years will be make or break for this park. There’s so much potential there, SF/CF can’t mess it up. I still think we’re being gypped. Six rides are being removed. Flash isn’t open yet, but that was in before five of those six were closed (just parachutes). So a new ride coming is replacing five rides. Doesn’t seem equal.

If they put in a modern multilaunch coaster by Mack, Intamin, or Vekoma that's atleast 4k long all will be forgotten. If they put in that stupid Mack extreme spinner concept or go cheap it will be hell to pay. Imagine a coaster like Velocicoaster, Voltron, or Lech everyone will be glad it happened. Sucks to lose an icon but everyone just needs to chill and see what they have in store.
