The authorities of the Control and Monitoring Directorate of the Municipal Mayor's Office reported that the work is 45% complete.
The work consists of the removal of the asphalt layer to be replaced by hydraulic concrete and historic stone recovered from the same road, as well as the reconstruction of sidewalks with cobblestones, curbs and the improvement of approaches to the avenue and the construction of a cycle path. throughout its journey.
In addition, the tangle of cables that cloud the aerial view will be eliminated, the hydrosanitary systems will be underground and 16 planters of different sizes will be built at various points along the avenue.
For better circulation, the supply and installation of 48 vertical preventive, regulatory and transportation service signs will be included; Horizontal signage will also be made along the entire stretch and the delimitation of pedestrian crossings.
