Those Hindus who are praising Halaku Khan should understand that he was the forefather of Mongols. Mongols did attack India but he was resisted thrice by Alauddin Khilji Mongols after attacking Baghdad became Muslims dramatically in large numbers. Mongols in Arabs and west Asia were Muslims whereas the left over remained in Mongolia following their traditional religion. Some Muslims even exists there today. Mongols later generations includes Turks and Mughals who ruled over South Asia and Eastern Europe. Halaku Khan episode is considered important in Islamic history because they revived the faith. Muslims were engaged in worldly matters too much and they were destroying themselves and faith. Mongols mayhem of Baghdad and later dramatic conversion to Islam despite being having upperhand is still unknown to many. No one has able to decode properly while looking their conversion from non religious point. Most of Indian ancestors are either Hindus or Mongols, Arabs, Afghans and we are proud of all of them. Ancestory is not important, God is most important and all of us are having One God and our God is same.

Rather take learnings and evolve your own self.. In Quran God says, “Allah does not change a people’s condition, until they change what is in themselves” (13:11) Finally have a positive outlook that “With every hardship, their will be relief” (94:5) & “You will get something better than what was taken from you” (8:24) It’s just that one needs to be patient and work towards self improvement…

Mongols direct islam me nahi aaye balki turks jo ke mongols ke ethnic cousins hain unki baat ki hai..The ottomans also claim to descend from mongol ruler Gengiz Khan. And we know how they became a formidable force in the past. Apart from this there are historical references which shows how the grandson of Gengiz and other notables accepted islam. Then by late 1300s, 3 out of 4 Khanate accepted Islam. Though I agree that Tatari is a loosely used term to refer Mongols. It was a new info for me that tatars were actually turkish steppe tribes who were merged into Mongol empire by Chengiz Khan. Thanks
