Dilraba dan leo wu didnt have a lot of kiss scene in this drama. Even the first kiss scene in episode 40..lol..thats why people thinks that dilraba has better chemistry with yang yang in you are my glory and leo wu has better chemistry with zhao lusi in love like galaxy. The long ballad more focus on li changge's character and her journey about revenge so we can only see a slice bit of her love story. People who have high expectation of their love story will be little bit dissapointed. But its very good drama..

Their scenes weren't about them lusting after each other but about the things they were willing to do and to sacrifice for one another. Their relationship was also non-toxic and really healthy...two people who actually understood, deeply respected, and admired each other. Again, an incredibly mature couple. But I also greatly disagree with those saying they had no chemistry because just scenes of eye-contact between Sun and Changge were some of the best I'd ever seen between a couple 😊

I almost missed this well done, beautiful, intriguing series all because of a couple of the outtakes. I assumed it was going to be like another series starring the main lead like another one i hadd just watched and enjoyed. Thankfully I decided to check it out further and got hooked. It moves quickly and is very well done. All the actors are superb and did an excellent job. Especially the lead the actors. I just can't say enough good things about this series. Well worth a second watch.

I wonder if that's just specific to Leilei or a general rule that applies to all young c-actors who co-stars with women who have a huge age gap from them. If that's the case, an older man kissing a younger woman should be prohibited, too. But it looks like that's okay bec 22-yo Zhao Lusi and 40-yo Lin Shen did it in Dating in the Kitchen. And yes, Leilei still looks awkward kissing and there were times in the bts of LLTG, he was blushing and a bit embarrassed.😆 Good thing Lusi is already quite experienced in that department.😊🤭

Lusi and Yuning, second leads, didn't get a proper kiss scene either. For their kissing scene, they were just leaning in for their kiss and the scene went black, haha. I actually prefer Sun and Changge's. At least it was very suggestive with the birds making out and then their hands were shown holding onto each other's backs passionately 🤭

I think TLB has a great balance of romance, character development, and plot. However, it's not the kind of romance with a ton of tension between the two characters. When they first met, there was more tension due to the focus of their scenes being on some flirting, eye-contact, suggestiveness with ML discovering FL's gender, etc. However, as the story progressed, the focus of their relationship changed to something more deeper: the care and love they have for each other and the things they're willing to do and sacrifice for one another. They have a very mature relationship based on understanding, respect, and admiration. It's quite healthy and non-toxic between them, therefore, not much tension. It's more loving and caring than anything else, so it comes down to what type of romance you're looking for. I personally loved their mature, healthy relationship so, their chemistry, to me, was great.

...it was the opposite for me. Neither of the second lead characters had any personality...which led to some incredibly bland and dull interactions. The relationship also wasn't very deep. The main leads were way more dynamic in their personalities and interactions. There was actually flirting and some of the most incredible eye-contact between them. Their relationship had more layers as well. Second leads were generally too cheesy at times and too bland at others. Not my cup of tea.

It was so off-putting how Shao Shang treated LBY and then punished him for 5 years because he didn't meet her expectations when she herself was so flawed and unwilling to compromise. She was so whiny, constantly complaining about LBY throughout the drama that I just wasn't convinced she truly loved him. She was way more in love with herself. At that point, if they had any chemistry, it didn't matter anymore. Sun and Changge had a super healthy, non-toxic relationship that was just way more mature, inspiring, positive, and loving. The chemistry between Dilraba and Wu Lei was great as evidenced by their eye-contact and flirting scenes, but instead of focusing on their characters lusting after each other, the drama just took a different approach on the more mature and deeper aspects of their relationship such as their understanding, respect, belief in, and admiration for one another. I actually appreciated that.

Wu Lei has matched well with all of his co-stars, including Dilraba. Even just the eye contact between them during some of their interactions was fire but the drama did not focus on that aspect of their relationship. Their scenes were prioritized on a more mature kind of love; not lust but on their respect, understanding, and admiration for each other. Also, their relationship was portrayed in a very loving, healthy, and non-toxic way. For example, they could have easily inserted a ton of slap/kiss scenes in there and that would have created a lot of tension between Wu Lei and Dilraba but that wasn't the kind of dynamic, relationship, or characters the production team wanted portrayed. Ashile Sun and Changge have a respectful, non-toxic relationship, and I like it that way.
