I can’t believe you put a tyre back on that “hexagon” 😂

That is not a 12 × 3.0 tube. There is a huge flat spot in the rim near the valve. Now that being said, This method he used starting at about 3 o'clock from the valve, putting in the bead buddy there worked for me. Use tire lube. I also worked back a bit the other way and put a second bead buddy at about 6 or 7 o'clock.

I never put a 3.0 tube in a pitbike lol. Secondly, I change 10 tires a day sometimes and tire lube is a waste of time on dirtbike. 2 tire spoons and one bead buddy, BOOM

No but you're a beast and most of us are on our hands and knees without a tire stand and there are subtle things that help. A new Dunlop tire won't let you just shove a tube in as the back bead won't push out of the way so I first put the sprocket back on and insert a spoon on the opposite just three inches away from the valve hole and hook it under the sprocket. Then it is a bit harder to pull up for room for the tube but you don't have to fight the bottom bead. As soon as you get the stem through and capped with the nut, take out the spoon then proceed as you do. The idea here is to help us newbies get a tire on without destroying our teeth and tube. What size tube are you using that the rest of us can copy in the 3.0 x 12 tire so we don't pinch it as easily? There are dozens of videos on this and I've hovered over the Dunlop guy at the races to try to get this down. They all are different in detail. I'm just adding in case that one poor struggling SOB finds it useful.

@@robertlapin813 yes you make some good points Robert! In pitbikes I've used 2.25/2.50 or 2.50/2.75 for years with no issues. Also the Dunlops are a bit stiff, I like the Michelin Star-crossed, easy peezy!

I spent 5 hours on my tire and this is the only method that worked. Thanks!

Took me about 30 minutes to pinch both brand new tubes I just ordered. Fucking snapped! Just ordered 4 more. Bound to get one in out of 6. If not I'm setting it on fire. Cheers
