Changing AIR INTAKE SYSTEM On My NFR Forte | Back To Stock Air Intake | NeedForRide

I always thought open pod air filter setup would performed much better than the stock ones but it's otherwise. Overall I felt that the stock air intake is more suitable for my car. I'm preparing for my upcoming track day so I've decided to revert back to stock intake setup.

i agree found on old car i had open in engine bay pod air filter will cause slugish pedal best is what you have now maybe im still looking into it but custom heat sheild wrap of some sort to help keep air intake box cooler for longer idk bc everyone thinks im muts for building low end sleeper/work with what you have car but critics will be critics i did notice though masive gain through muffler change/ delete i have flow through turbo style chaber muffler and now can launch car realy hard and throtlle response is realy snapy ya open it up and hang on for dear life lol crazy how much restriction is caused by factory muffler idk rules where you live but may wana look intoslip on and bolt down muffler or "cut out" pipe for track days if its allowed will realy help lap timesand depending on how hard you go save some mpg no tune required

Exactly bro.. With stock engine setup, the HP gain is very little or probably none. I tried my friend's car with intake mods, exhaust mods along with tuning too, the drive wasn't as great as mine either. The driving experience felt pretty much the same. 😅

To allow the fume to flow from crankcase valve to the Oil Catch Can and then back to the air intake pipe.

Open pod filter and custom piping usually cost around sgd100, the cost also really depends on what brand of filter you're buying. Hence for me, I bought a used filter because I just wanna try out the difference. Which I don't feel there's improvement at all.. The Drop-In panel filter cost me sgd$50 - $60, I got it brand new.. If you're looking for K&N or Hurricane filter, it cost around sgd$110. Tbh, the drop-in panel filter is more than enough for stock engine setup. 😁

Niceee ive got a pretty much stock setup aswell other than a muffler change I saw in a video that u will be visiting sepang again soon! Hope ull have a nice time in malaysia again 😊 Another question i have is, what is the process in booking for a trackday to sepang and how much does it cost any third party vendor do we have to go though or can directly book on sepang website😮😮

@@darkMysteriousD Open track day can be booked via Sepang website. 1 session 45mins RM300. It's best to book 2 session to enjoy the track because 45min is too short for the enjoyment. But the sessions will be on different timing, usually 2pm and 5pm. 😊
