A slow and calm modellation of speech would be better. But, a good one. Thanks for the information.

When the comments say slow down, but you put the video on a higher speed 👀 you could also slow his voice down too if you need to. I just love his energy and delivery, it makes me excited! I especially love his speed when you have to cram for an exam 😂

How do you change the speed? I love the video's but I can't keep up.

There’s a button for that.

really like your videos but it would be nice if the information was slowed down when delivered

Hi. Can you share some examples of reinforcing the behavior when it meets the desired level of criteria?

Smoking 10 cigarettes a day Giving 9 compliments to my students Telling my kids i appreciate them 5 times a week Basically anything you want!

Can changing criterion graphs exists with out a base line ?
@PsychCore4 жыл бұрын
Well they have to have a level to start from... that level would be a baseline of some sorts.
@lindacherylarteaga14884 жыл бұрын
@@PsychCore So you could say that they always have a baseline (level to start from) my prof says they don't need to have a baseline and I disagree
@PsychCore4 жыл бұрын
Depends on what you’re defining as a baseline. You have to track behavior period - in order to establish the current level - then start changing from there. Some may call that initial pattern a baseline - others may call it something different (maybe it’s the first set of measurements that started during an intervention that was already in place). So in a traditional AB or ABA or ABAB or Mult Baseline designs its not quite the same. But you still have to start somewhere. Draw it out with your prof and ask what they call the first set of measurements. Should help!

I really love that you post videos on these topics because so many people need clarification but the way you deliver them is soo hard to follow because you talk so fast and I never know what is going to be valuable information or what is going to be a joke and this just makes it so hard to follow. Please consider slowing down and taking the topics more seriously because that's why we are here, to take them seriously and to really learn. Again I LOVE that you are trying to help but your delivery takes away from the important information :(

Thanks for the feedback! Please see the video on talking quickly for a better explanation. :)

Oh - and I take these topics more seriously than probably any scientist in our field. Genuinely. Which is why I laugh about them. I just use humor to connect the idea(s) with an emotion. Ya know - some good ole CER type work. 😊

I am watching your videos to help me have fun and enjoy the topics! I feel you LEARN better when it's fun (sure there is an experimental design on that =), thanks for being hilarious when I need to relax more with these topics.@@PsychCore
