Since Nolan has problems by breaking Mini Mark, the opening confirms that Nolan is in fact not alive, but is rather a construct of another world here to own Matt at golf and to provide us with solutions that are either sick or don't work. That was fucking wonderful, both the life hacks themselves and the editing on this video. My favorite part was Mark showing up in a video letter, that was ridiculous and hilarious. I think Matt's solution to Simple's problem might also actually work if the thing that holds the ice cube was taller, so it doesn't fall out and melt on you, instead you only just drown.
