Changing Manual Shift Transmission Fluid On A Ford 2000 Tractor. In this video I show how I changed the transmission fluid in my Ford 2000 tractor. I ran tractor to warm fluid. Drained and serviced. Leveled tractor to get accurate level readings. Check fluid level again after running tractor.

I had the same problem with the fluid level being over full. The 2 shift sticks are supposed to have rubber boots over them to keep water out. I bought a set off of eBay for around $8 and haven’t had anymore problems.

Good video. My Ford 2000 starts to hop when I lift the rotary mower. Any ideas. Filled the oil.

Really i think its transhydra fluid as 80w will be to heavy

Oil level is high because is has water mixed with it.

Be careful not to cross thread the drain plug it becomes a real problem
