Wouldn't it be wonderful if the equivalent of the Household division in Canada was invited to take part in the Trooping in London...

Yes absolutely. We’ve had the Royal Canadian artillery, PPCLI, RCMP and a few more I believe but we need the GGHG and GGFG

At the end at 15:25 I was surprised there was a Master Corporal directing the music instead of a commissioned officer. I've never seen that before.

You will notice that unlike the changing of the guard at Windsor castle there is no policeman walking in front of the band, they just stop the traffic
@julessherwood2 жыл бұрын
The reason we have the police following them and stopping traffic is because a soldier who was off duty, wearing his uniform was walking back to his barracks was stabbed and killed by a horrible man who is now in prison for murder. This is why so they can be kept safe from the public and strangers who may want to do harm as they go about doing their duty to protect not only Windsor Castle but Buckingham Palace, St. James Palace, Horse Guards and various other locations that the Royal Family are in the UK.

I was in that platoon! I surprised you didn't record any of the guards without the instruments. I wanted to see my face but all you did was record the musicians up close and personal!! :(
