and you can tape the shape of the pickup on the back of a pickguard and cut it with a blade heated over gas fire if you don't have that spinning tool like me

About the 2 wires soldered together, do you need to solder them to anywhere else? Or just solder the ground and lead wire and leave the 2 soldered together wires alone? I'm confused

You just leave them 2 soldered together and tape them off so they don't touch any other electronics, only need the ground and live soldered to the pot and selector switch

Remember that the colour coding on the wires on pickups vary depending on the brand, for example seymour duncan has red and white taped together, green live and a bare ground

Hi, for grinding I used something like this, there re many types, euroboor.com/product/euroboor-edg-600/, and for soldering something like this-www.homedepot.com/p/Hakko-67-Watt-Temperature-Adjustable-Soldering-Iron-FX601-02-P/204215979. For the first soldering I was using 40 years old soldering machine, but the second I borrowed from my friend)))You can buy it in any shop with tools, even sometimes in Lidl. You need special wire ask seller for it Good luck...

@@everestgaming7004 In HSS configuration, position 5(neck), 3(middle) and 2(bridge+middle) produce hum. Positions 4(neck+middle) and 1(bridge) are hum cancelling.
