Changing The Battery In A Michael Kors Watch (DIY)

This is a video of me changing the battery in a Michael Kors rose gold watch. It is a simple process and I wanted to document myself doing it while explaining what I was doing. I made this video with DIY-styled instructions so that you could follow along. All that I had to do was pry off the back of the watch, remove the plastic piece, and remove the battery using a small screwdriver. After, I pretty much just reversed the process to reinstall everything.

Good video overall thank you very much! Only thing I believe you might want to mention is for people to be very careful when using the vice grips on the watch, that if they squeeze to hard that they can very easily break the glass on the watch, but other then this great video thanks again!!!

The back does not come off that easily. I change batteries on all my watches but the Kors back will not come off

as far as I can see on mine, near where one of the bands is attached, there is an indent where I can slide my pry tool under the cover

Im pretty sure that is a fake anyways....the real mk watches have 6 grooves on the back of the watch and the clasp part does not have any holes in it. its a solid piece

1.55v SR621SW works. 1.5v LR521 works too.

People are pathetic. This was such a helpful video. My husb and I bought a tool kit from Amazon for $12ish dollar and this video helped us replace a Micheal Kors watch battery at first shot. We replaced so many more. The total cost was not even $20 bucks which is what they charge for replacing only one battery ..if not more at the mall.

Back doesn’t come out like that easy. The spot where to pry out the cover is very thin. I ended up scratching the nearby spot with the pry still couldn’t open.
